The COUTURE Diversity Action Council Opens Applications for the Next Class of Mentorship Program

(PRESS RELEASE) The application window has opened for the next class of mentees in the two-year mentorship program created and administered by the COUTURE Diversity Action Council (DAC). Designed to promote Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) within all facets of the jewelry ecosystem, the program offers education, access and guidance to a new group of designers. In addition to being paired with a mentor for one-on-one consulting, the mentees will also receive weekly or bi-weekly education via Zoom with a host of experts on various relevant subjects, which also helps establish a strong sense of community among the mentees. Knowing that the barriers to entering the jewelry industry are high, the DAC remains committed to providing access, fostering talent and amplifying the voices of BIPOC designers through its mentorship program.
