At the Billboard Music Awards, Rihanna was spotted wearing a $1 million diamond sparkler set in a thick gold band on the ring finger of her left hand, prompting speculation that hip-hop star Drake had popped the question, Hollywood Life writes. However, the entertainment website says it received word that the ring – “a Jacob & Co.’s engraved pinky ring set with a 10 carat cushion cut diamond” – was just a loaner for her awards show ensemble. If Rihanna was trying to send a message to Drake, the massive rock is a pretty impossible signal for him to miss.
