Introducing the CITIZEN Automatic NJ015 Series

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — CITIZEN US is bringing the highly anticipated and acclaimed NJ015 automatic series to the market, giving consumers another reason to adorn their wrists with a new watch. Fusing a vintage inspired modern design, eye-catching hues and automatic movement, the collection, which has been affectionately named “Tsuyosa,” which in Japanese means strength, will make its US debut on May 23 on the CITIZEN US ecommerce site.

Defining a new footprint in mechanical timekeeping, the series delivers on style, function and design. Making a statement with its accessible trend sport style and authentic timekeeping featuring Citizen’s automatic movement, Cal.8210, the collection offers an accessible gateway into the brand’s portfolio of mechanical watches.

The Style
Each timepiece features a modern integrated style stainless steel case and bracelet. The case is chamfered and finished with brushing and polishing.

The crown set on the 4 o’clock position provides a slimmer appearance to the watch. Each link of the bracelet is curved to create a mountain-like shape, lending a classical feel to the watch. The center links of the bracelet and the bezel are polished for a more luxurious look.

Offered in five eye-catching colorways – blue, yellow, green, turquoise and black – each dial bears a subtle sunray pattern. Simple baton style indices are carefully applied to the twelve position. The magnified lens over the date window at 3 o’clock is a unique standout feature of the watch. Attention to detail is paramount in each piece, but when blended together, the watch exudes a style that is as classic as it is modern.

The Movement
Equipped with the Cal.8210 in-house manufactured automatic movement, 21 jewels, 21,600 vph with the movement visible from the case-back, each watch offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve, packing in the power at no cost to the environment.

Time for More “Me Time”? Time to Call Wilkerson

Rick White, owner of White’s & Co. Jewelry in Rogers, Ark., knew it was time to retire. Since the age of 18, jewelry had been his life. Now it was time to get that “me time” every retailer dreams about. So, he chose Wilkerson to manage his going-out-of-business sale. White says he’d done plenty of sales on his own, but this was different. “Wilkerson has been a very, very good experience. I’ve had the best salespeople in the history of jewelry,” he says. “I recommend Wilkerson because they are really the icon of the jewelry business and going-out-of-business sales. They’ve been doing it for decades. I just think they’re the best.”
