(PRESS RELEASE) MAPLE GROVE, MN — For twenty-three years, Mark Lauer, owner of Mark Michael Diamond Designs, has created artisanal custom jewelry for the community of Maple Grove. What started as a small, humble operation in 1985 quickly became a main street staple. Now, after years of shining success, Mark is ready to close the doors for good and settle into retirement. To celebrate the legacy and say thank you to the supportive community around him, he’ll be hosting a huge going-out-of-business sale with deals up to 70% off storewide.

Mark’s road to become Maple Grove’s Best Jeweler began with nothing more than a set of handmade earrings. While on campus he approached and sold earrings to a beautiful young lady. This same young lady (named Susan) later became his wife. Realizing the possibilities of creating a future with jewelry design, he completed his degree in fine arts. After graduating, he worked for various companies honing his skills.

With a well-rounded skill set under his belt, Mark returned to Minnesota with his lovely wife to grow his jewelry design business into a retail destination for custom jewelry designs and repairs. By 2000, he had set up shop on Main Street in Maple Grove, where the store still resides over twenty years later. As he looks forward to enjoying the slower pace of retirement, he reflects on his tenure with gratitude:

“I feel incredibly blessed that I’ve been allowed to have this amazing gift and ability to utilize it to create original designed jewelry. I’m so grateful to all the people of Maple Grove for supporting my passion these many years. Thank you.”

As Mark gets ready to close the doors of his store for good, starting March 21st you can purchase his custom-creations and other fine jewelry with savings up to 70% off. Don’t miss the chance to acquire a Mark Michael Original Design from the jewelry store voted best in Maple Grove four years in a row.

Time for More “Me Time”? Time to Call Wilkerson

Rick White, owner of White’s & Co. Jewelry in Rogers, Ark., knew it was time to retire. Since the age of 18, jewelry had been his life. Now it was time to get that “me time” every retailer dreams about. So, he chose Wilkerson to manage his going-out-of-business sale. White says he’d done plenty of sales on his own, but this was different. “Wilkerson has been a very, very good experience. I’ve had the best salespeople in the history of jewelry,” he says. “I recommend Wilkerson because they are really the icon of the jewelry business and going-out-of-business sales. They’ve been doing it for decades. I just think they’re the best.”
