The Children's Ministries at Cleves Church of Christ exists to make the love of God known to children and their families, and to see children become lifelong disciples of Christ. To accomplish these tasks, We are committed to being:
Biblical- Everything we do will be done with the desire to help our children grow in their knowledge of God’s Word so that they might grow in their knowledge of God. We are committed to teaching children the value of God’s word in their lives.
Family Oriented- We believe that God has designed the family to be the best place for a child to come to know Christ. We are committed to being a partner who equips families to disciple their children, and to make sure that those children who do not have families involved in a relationship with Christ are surrounded by loving adults who will model what it means to be a growing Christian.
Engaging- No matter what age or what background a child comes from, We strive to engage children where they are through creative, exciting, and fun programming so that children might understand the excitement of a life devoted to Christ.
Every Sunday morning all of our First-Fifth grade children
gather together in the Sanctuary with their families for our Praise, Offering, and Communion Worship. They wil then be dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for Junior Church. This exciting time engages children through music, drama, and exciting teaching so that children may know more of the awesome love of Christ.
Our smallest children, newborn - kindergarten, enjoy the
wonderful care and love of our nursery/preschool workers.
Every Sunday evening children in Kindergarten to 5 grade meet for a time of fellowship and Bible learning. Children participate in various activities, games and craft that reinforce the lesson. They also enjoy refreshments and special events such as bowling, movie night...
The safety of our children is one of our highest priorities at Cleves Church of Christ. We are committed to taking the extra steps necessary to ensure that every child and parent feels safe when they walk through our doors. Every childcare worker, teacher, and volunteer goes through state and federal background checks.
We are continuously updating, remodeling and re-building our Children’s Department. We want to provide the safest environment possible for your child when they are in our care. We also want to build a strong environment with resources that will help you as you build your child's foundation.
