(PRESS RELEASE)Costar Imports, one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of fine diamond jewelry, is proud to offer a social media marketing program to benefit fine jewelers during their busiest time—the holidays.

“We are excited to partner with jewelers, and offer them marketing assistance during what is not only the busiest time of the year, but the most profitable,” says Ram Kedia, president. “With this program, jewelers will be able to reach thousands of jewelry shoppers in their market while staying hands-off. They don’t have to do anything, so they can concentrate on what’s happening in their store.”

The program, which will run a few days before Thanksgiving through Christmas, includes 8 elaborate, multi-edited videos featuring Costar products. The videos, along with engaging copy, will be posted directly on jewelers’ Facebook and Instagram accounts. Each post will be
boosted, targeting jewelry shoppers who only live within a jeweler’s market, driving them to shop.

Costar is working with Harmon, a third-party marketing agency specializing in the jewelry industry, to manage the program. Harmon will implement the entire program directly through jewelers’ social media accounts. They will also provide a content calendar, detailing when posts will be scheduled, as well as performance analytics when the program is over.

“Everything is professionally created and managed from beginning to end,” explains Kedia. “Jewelers don’t have to do anything except sign up.”

For more information on this program, or to sign-up, see Costar at CBG, or JCK, booth 21087. You can also call 888-726-7827 or email ram@costarimports.com

Time for More “Me Time”? Time to Call Wilkerson

Rick White, owner of White’s & Co. Jewelry in Rogers, Ark., knew it was time to retire. Since the age of 18, jewelry had been his life. Now it was time to get that “me time” every retailer dreams about. So, he chose Wilkerson to manage his going-out-of-business sale. White says he’d done plenty of sales on his own, but this was different. “Wilkerson has been a very, very good experience. I’ve had the best salespeople in the history of jewelry,” he says. “I recommend Wilkerson because they are really the icon of the jewelry business and going-out-of-business sales. They’ve been doing it for decades. I just think they’re the best.”
